Jesmonite metal powder - BRONZE - 1kg

Jesmonite products can be given a unique appearance and excellent durability by adding different metal powders. When mixed with AC100 and AC300 resin- and powder-based cleaning agents, bronze, silver and copper surfaces can be created.

Mix ratio:

• Jesmonite liquid: 300 g
• Jesmonite powder: 600 g
• Metal powder: 700–1000 g

Mixing instructions:

 

1. Measure the metal powder into a separate container.
2. Mix the appropriate amount of Jesmonite AC100 or AC300 resin and powder.
3. Add the metal powder mixture and mix thoroughly until there are no lumps.

Thickening with thixotrope:

The metal filler itself thickens the mixture, so no additional thickening is required for gel coatings and castings. However, if you want a paste consistency, add Thixotrope.

Finishing works:

• It is necessary to remove the acrylic film on the surface in order to make the metal visible.
• The dried hard surface can be polished to a shine with wire wool.
• The polished surface must be protected with a coating.
